New Delhi, June 2 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bhopal Zonal Office, on Tuesday said it has provisionally attached movable and immovable properties worth Rs 18.20 crore belonging to Dharmendra Singh Bhadauria, former District Excise Officer of Alirajpur, and his family members.
The ED initiated its investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on the basis of an FIR registered by the Special Police Establishment (SPE), Lokayukta, Indore, under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018), against Bhadauria for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
