New Delhi, May 11 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday arrested former West Bengal Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Sujit Bose in connection with the alleged multi-crore Municipality Recruitment Scam.
According to the ED, Bose allegedly recommended around 150 candidates for various posts in the South Dum Dum Municipality in exchange for monetary benefits.
Investigators claimed to have traced proceeds of crime linked to the case, including flats allegedly acquired by Bose in return for facilitating municipal jobs for several individuals.
