ECoR to run special trains on key routes to manage festive rush

Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) will operate additional special trains on important routes during the upcoming Durga Puja and Diwali festive season to facilitate passenger travel and clear the anticipated rush.

ECoR sources said Train No. 08405 Puri-Santragachi Puja Special will run every Monday from October 5 to October 26, while Train No. 08406 Santragachi-Puri Puja Special will operate every Tuesday from October 6 to October 27.

Train No. 08405 will leave Puri at 17:45 hours and reach Santragachi at 03:45 hours the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 08406 will depart Santragachi at 08:45 hours and arrive at Puri at 19:00 hours.

The trains will have stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar...
