Bhubaneswar, July 15 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has rolled out extensive special train services and strengthened passenger amenities, security and crowd management measures to ensure safe, smooth and comfortable travel for lakhs of pilgrims during the Puri Rath Yatra.
To handle the massive rush of devotees expected to converge on Puri, ECoR will operate a large number of special trains connecting the pilgrim town with key destinations across Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
The special trains will provide connectivity from major stations, including Rourkela, Biramitrapur, Bangiriposi, Junagarh Road, Badampahar, Boudh, Jagdalpur, Balasore, Angul, Gunupur, Rayagada, Paradeep, Bhadrak, Kendujhar, Daspalla,...
