Bhubaneswar, April 14 -- General Manager of East Coast Railway, Parmeshwar Funkwal, has stressed the need for the timely completion of all redevelopment works at Puri railway station ahead of the upcoming Rath Yatra.
During his inspection of the Khurda Road-Puri section on Tuesday, followed by a detailed review of ongoing station development works at Puri, Funkwal directed officials to closely monitor progress and ensure that all projects are completed well before the festival.
Emphasizing a passenger-centric approach, he stated that every aspect of the redevelopment must focus on ensuring safe, smooth, and comfortable movement of pilgrims, especially during the peak travel period.
