Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal on Saturday conducted a detailed inspection of Puri Railway Station, reviewing passenger amenities, safety measures, operational efficiency and the progress of ongoing infrastructure development projects.
During the visit, Funkwal assessed the status of the station redevelopment works being undertaken to transform Puri Railway Station into a modern, world-class and passenger-friendly transport hub.
He reviewed various infrastructure enhancement initiatives and directed officials to ensure their timely completion while maintaining high quality standards and minimising inconvenience to passengers during the construction phase.
