New Delhi, March 29 -- Economic outlook became more uncertain in the wake of geopolitical developments in West Asia with early indications of some 'moderation' in economic activity, said the Monthly Economic Review (MER) released by Department of Economic Affairs here on Saturday.
MER noted that the ongoing turbulence in West Asia have disrupted key energy and logistic channels, leading to tightening of global supply conditions.
"Before the onset of these developments, economic activity in India remained robust up to February 2026 with strong performance across both supply and demand-side indicators" the MER said.
