Agartala, March 11 -- A high-level delegation from the Election Commission of India (ECI), led by Principal Secretary N T Bhutia, arrived in Tripura on Wednesday to assess and review the preparedness for the upcoming by-election to the Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency.
The visit is part of the ECI's standard protocol to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections across the state. During their stay, the delegation is expected to thoroughly evaluate the entire electoral process, including polling station arrangements, security measures, and staff deployment.
