Meerut, Nov. 2 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday began reviewing Uttar Pradesh's preparedness for the 2027 Assembly elections, starting with 18 districts spread across four divisions in western Uttar Pradesh.
The review meeting was held in Meerut in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Manish Garg and other senior ECI officials. The meeting focused on election preparations in the Meerut, Saharanpur, Moradabad and Aligarh divisions.
The meeting began at around 11 am at the Energy Building of the Western Power Distribution Corporation on Jail Chungi Road in Meerut's Saket locality.
