Panchkula, July 14 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has revised the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Haryana with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, extending the timeline for field verification and publication of the final electoral roll following a request from the Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana.
According to an order issued by the Commission on Tuesday, house-to-house verification by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will now continue until July 24, 2026, instead of ending on July 14. The process of rationalisation and re-arrangement of polling stations has also been extended up to July 24.
