Ranchi, April 10 -- The Election Commission has initiated preparations for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Jharkhand, with a state-level review meeting outlining key directives for field implementation.
Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar on Friday chaired a video conference with deputy electoral officers of all districts to assess preparedness ahead of the revision exercise.
K Ravi Kumar said, "The focus should be on ensuring that no eligible citizen is left out of the electoral roll," while directing officials to complete all pre-revision tasks in a time-bound manner.
