Asansol, May 29 -- In a major boost to train operations and passenger safety, Eastern Railway has successfully upgraded the signaling system at Panagarh Station under West Bengal's Asansol Division.
Under the leadership of Milind Deouskar, General Manager of Eastern Railway, and under the close guidance of Sangrah Maurya, Divisional Railway Manager of Asansol, the station has transitioned to an advanced Electronic Interlocking system. This massive technological upgrade was successfully commissioned on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:25 PM by the Signal and Telecommunication (Openline) department.
