Itanagar, Sept. 29 -- Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal Inderpal Singh Walia, called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik at Lok Bhavan here on Tuesday and discussed issues concerning security and emergency response in the State.

The discussions covered national security, strengthening of Advanced Landing Grounds (ALGs), air connectivity and the role of the Indian Air Force (IAF) during natural calamities and medical emergencies, a communique from the Lok Bhavan said.
