Bhubaneswar, April 6 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has achieved a remarkable milestone in scrap disposal during the financial year 2025-26, recording its highest-ever revenue of Rs.290.22 crore. This exceptional performance surpasses the target set by the Railway Board by Rs.30.22 crore, marking an impressive increase of 11.62 percent over the targeted goal.
The achievement also reflects a steady upward trend, registering a 7.77 percent growth compared to the previous year's record scrap disposal revenue of approximately Rs.269.3 crore. This underscores ECoR's continued focus on efficient resource mobilisation and effective asset management.
