Bhubaneswar, Feb. 28 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Saturday organised a comprehensive mock drill on earthquake preparedness and fire safety at Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar, in coordination with the Fire Services Wing of the Government of Odisha.
The exercise was conducted to assess and enhance the level of preparedness to effectively handle emergency situations such as earthquakes and fire incidents within office premises and adjoining residential colonies.
Officials and staff from various departments of ECoR actively participated in the drill, alongside personnel from the State Fire Fighting Brigade and disaster response teams. The simulated emergency scenario involved swift evacuation procedures followed by a staged fire incident.
