Nashik, April 3 -- Earthquake tremors were felt early this morning in the Umbarthan area of Surgana Taluka. The first mild tremor occurred around 5:29 AM, followed by a second, more intense tremor at 5:30 AM. Locals reported that the tremors lasted for approximately 4 to 5 seconds.
The effects of the earthquake were felt most acutely in villages within the Umbarthan region, including Nimbarpada, Datrichapada, Kothula, Jharnichapada, Alangun, Khandudi, Ambatha, Lolani, Khuntvihir, Ragatvihir, Guhi (Jambhulpada), Krishnanagar, Satkhamb, Jamunmatha, Udmal, Palvihir, Kelipada, and Pangarne.
