Varanasi, May 3 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken another significant step towards Digital India. Thanks to the government's efforts, the e-Office system has now been implemented in Varanasi Central Jail.
With its implementation, administrative orders, official correspondence, prisoner releases, and other important administrative tasks can now be completed at a faster pace.
Previously, the prison administration had to rely on the postal system or officials for any government orders, letters, or instructions.
This often caused unnecessary delays in the delivery and processing of orders.
Orders, especially those related to prisoner releases, will now be processed in a timely manner.
