Chennai, Oct. 30 -- The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) announced that a total of 170 key material evidences and 13 digital evidences were seized during the day long raids at 25 locations in five districts linked to senior DMK leader and former Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration and Local Administration Minister K.N.Nehru in connection with the Rs 634 crore cash for jobs scam.
In press release issued late last night after the searches, the DVAC said armed with the Madras High Court order clearing the decks for probing the multi-crore scam, cases were registered against Nehru and seven others based on a complaint.
