New Delhi, April 20 -- India and Uzbekistan are currently conducting Exercise Dustlik 2026, the seventh edition of their joint military drill, at the Gurumsaray Field Training Area in Uzbekistan's Namangan region from April 12 to 25. Aimed at enhancing interoperability and joint operational capabilities in semi-mountainous terrain, the exercise focuses on joint planning, tactical drills, specialised weapons training and special operations against unlawful armed groups.
The Exercise Dustlik series has been conducted alternately in India and Uzbekistan since its inception, reflecting the growing defence cooperation between the two nations.
