Patna, June 11 -- Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh Thursday said that the ambitious Dumri Sports City will be developed over 100 acres, at an expenditure of Rs 574 crore.
Chairing a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of major sports infrastructure projects, athlete development initiatives, and the long-term sports development roadmap for Bihar, Singh said that Dumri Sports City would emerge as a landmark project for Bihar and would create opportunities for future expansion in sports infrastructure, sports-based economic activities, training facilities, and allied sectors.
The proposal has already been forwarded to the District Magistrate and District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna, she informed.
