New Delhi, May 20 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the schedule for the 2026-27 domestic season, which will feature a massive 1,788 matches across men's and women's cricket in various age groups and formats.
The season will begin with the Duleep Trophy at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence grounds on August 23 and will include competitions across senior, U23, U19 and U16 categories in men's cricket, along with extensive tournaments in senior, U23, U19 and U15 women's cricket.
The national cricket board said the calendar has been designed to strengthen India's domestic structure while maintaining a balanced schedule across formats and age groups.
