New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- North Zone wrapped up a 52-run victory over West Zone early on the fourth morning of their Duleep Trophy quarter-final at the Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru. West Zone resumed the day on 220/7, needing another 67 runs for victory, but their hopes lasted less than seven overs as North Zone quickly finished the job.
Abid Mushtaq provided the first breakthrough of the morning, bowling Tanush Kotian in the second over. He struck again to dismiss Tushar Deshpande, before Nishant Sindhu trapped Urvil Patel LBW in the following over to complete North Zone's victory.
