Mumbai, Aug. 20 -- Mumbai Police have arrested five persons, including a 60-year-old woman, in connection with the alleged murder of her daughter-in-law, who had returned from Dubai for a holiday, officials said on Thursday.
The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Sapna Pramod Ganji, was allegedly strangled at her residence in Ghatkopar on August 16.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sapna's mother-in-law Dhanalakshmi Bhikshapati Ganji (60), domestic worker Mangalabai Suresh Jadhav (45), her husband Suresh Ganpat Jadhav (46), their daughter Shivani Suresh Jadhav (21) and son Sajan Suresh Jadhav (19).
