New Delhi, March 31 -- With three goals each from Sonu Sharma and Manju, along with an excellent performance by defenders, the Delhi University Alumna team defeated Vivekananda College 6-0 to win the women's title in the 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Hockey Tournament.
At the ground of host Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, former Delhi players representing the DU Alumna team used their experience, hockey skills, and fitness earned through hard work to completely dominate the young players of Vivekananda College in the final. Sonu and Manju scored three goals each for the winning team. Manju was awarded the SNS Player of the Match.
