Shimla, March 4 -- Himachal Pradesh is currently experiencing dry weather, which is expected to continue till March 7.

There is no forecast of rain or snowfall in the state for the next few days.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), weather conditions are likely to change after March 7 due to the activation of a Western Disturbance. This system is expected to bring rain and light snowfall to several parts of the state for about three days.

Light snowfall is likely in the higher reaches of Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba and Kullu districts. Mid-hill areas may receive light rain, especially on March 9. The expected rain and snow may cause a slight drop in temperatures across the state.
