Shimla, June 3 -- Continuing its intensified campaign against drug trafficking, Nurpur Police in district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh, achieved a major breakthrough by arresting six persons in three separate cases and recovering heroin (chitta) and charas from their possession.
Nurpur Police district, Superintendent of Police, Kulbhushan Verma on Wednesday said, "Six persons were arrested in three separate anti-narcotics operations in Nurpur, with police recovering 11.06 grams of heroin (chitta) and 512 grams of charas from their possession."Operations were carried out by local police and Crime Investigating Agency (CIA) teams at different locations in the police district as part of ongoing efforts to curb the menace of narcotics, he inform...
