Saharanpur/Lucknow, June 22 -- Dreaded criminal Lallan Singh, involved in the gruesome murder of seven (7) people including two (2) police sub-inspectors and a bank cashier was encountered by Uttar Pradesh STF late Sunday night in Saharanpur.
UP police had announced a reward of Rs 1.25 lakh on the deceased criminal.
ADG STF Amitabh Yash said in Lucknow on Monday that Lalan Singh @ Lallan, resident of Anandgolwa Village, P.S. Mohiuddin Nagar, District Samastipur (Bihar), was a notorious and reward-declared criminal wanted in several sensational cases, including the shooting of a Sub-Inspector and robbery of his service pistol in Varanasi on November 8, 2022, and a firing-cum-robbery incident in Chandauli on November 1, 2022.
