Pune, June 18 -- Dr. Virendra Shete, Dean of MIT Art, Design and Technology (ADT) University, has been elected as a member of the Governing Council of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), New Delhi, for the 2026-2029 term.
Notably, he is one of only two representatives from Maharashtra to be elected to the governing council of this prestigious national-level institution.
With more than 32 years of experience in education, research, administrative leadership, and institutional development, Prof. Dr. Shete has made significant contributions to the field of higher education, a release stated on Thursday.
