Panchula, June 18 -- Haryana Police arrested a man accused in a sensational double murder case within hours of the crime, preventing his alleged escape to Delhi, in an operation that officials described as a result of prompt action, intelligence-based tracking and effective inter-district coordination.

Police said the accused, identified as Sahil Malik of Model Town, Panipat, was intercepted and arrested at Bhigan Toll Plaza in Sonipat district while allegedly attempting to flee towards the national capital after committing two murders.
