Alappuzha (Kerala), Aug. 8 -- Michael Boulos, prominent international businessman and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, arrived in Alappuzha on Saturday on a private visit, accompanied by an eight-member team.
Boulos, who is the husband of Trump's daughter Tiffany Trump, reached Kochi by a chartered flight this morning and proceeded to Alappuzha. Officials from the US Consulate also accompanied him, according to sources.
The visit is primarily aimed at experiencing the scenic beauty of Alappuzha and its famous backwaters. Boulos and his team took a ride on a houseboat and are scheduled to watch the practice rowing of chundan vallams (snake boats) being conducted as part of preparations for the Nehru Trophy Boat Race.
