Siliguri, May 17 -- Claiming that some people often try to "misuse" photographs with political leaders to establish influence and further personal interests, Siliguri MLA Sankar Ghosh on Sunday urged residents not to judge political proximity merely through pictures shared in public.

Addressing a series of felicitation programmes organised across Siliguri before leaving for Kolkata, the BJP MLA said that many individuals project themselves as politically influential by displaying photographs with elected representatives, which, according to him, should not be taken at face value.
