Nagpur, June 22 -- : A 42-year-old doctor allegedly died by suicide by administering himself an anaesthetic injection at a private hospital in Nagpur on Monday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Dr Ishwar Chandewar, was attached to Neurons Brain Hospital near Yashwant Stadium in the Dhantoli area.
Besides his medical duties, he was also associated with the hospital's administrative wing.
According to police, Dr Chandewar was found unconscious inside his room at the hospital after colleagues received no response from him on Monday morning.
The room was locked from the inside and was opened with police assistance. Doctors declared him dead after examination.
