Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- Digital media is fast emerging as an important supplementary tool for adolescent learning and life-skills education under Odisha Government's flagship Advika programme.
The Ghasiram Panda YouTube Channel is being used by Anganwadi Workers and adolescents as an audio-visual learning resource during Advika sessions, with content covering child rights, life skills, child protection, gender equality, adolescent health and safety, and issues such as child marriage and school dropout.
The videos help Anganwadi Workers make sessions more interactive and participatory, while enabling adolescents to revisit key messages beyond scheduled meetings and share them within their communities.
