Mumbai, May 18 -- The ongoing Middle East crisis is now likely to hit the common man's lifeline -- the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). Against the backdrop of rising fuel prices in the country, discussions regarding a hike in state transport bus fares have commenced.

To review this critical financial situation, a high-level meeting of senior MSRTC officials was chaired by Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik at the Mantralaya.
