Pune, July 27 -- Ansh Singh, a Class IX student of Dhruv Global School, Nande, Pune, clinched the gold medal in the Under-61 kg category at the Maharashtra State Taekwondo Championship held in Ahilyanagar.
Singh delivered a commanding performance throughout the tournament, securing the state title with convincing 3-0 and 5-0 victories in the final.
His triumph has earned him selection to the Maharashtra team for the upcoming National Taekwondo Championship to be held in Sikkim.
A student of Class IX-B, Singh maintained his dominance from the opening rounds, overcoming his opponents through superior technical skills and tactical execution before advancing to the final. His achievement has brought laurels to Dhruv Global School.
