Chennai, May 12 -- Is the AIADMK is heading for Dharmayudham 2.0 as the split in the party became wide open on Tuesday and stood pronounced as the rebel MLAs, who have hardened their stand against Party General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami following successive poll defeats, announced that they have decided to back the ruling TVK headed by Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay in the no trust vote in the State Assembly tomorrow.
Though there were signals of rebellion in the party since the poll results were out, senior rebel leaders, who are aligned against EPS decided to support the TVK government, while also alleging that Mr Palaniswami had proposed forming a government with the support of the DMK.
