Imphal, Oct. 28 -- Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, Director General Assam Rifles, today visited Moreh and Chongjang in Tengnoupal district to assess the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and ongoing border infrastructure development along the international border. The high-level visit focused on strengthening border management and fortifying the security architecture in the region, according to an Assam Rifles official.
