New Delhi, May 2 -- Department of Financial Services (DFS) today convened a colloquium to focus on key issues such as reducing pendency and accelerating the disposal of cases.
This colloquium was attended by Chairpersons of Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunals (DRATs) and Presiding Officers of Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRTs).
The DFS secretary highlighted the departmental thrust on deepening digitisation to ease tribunal processes.
In this high-level meeting, key areas of discussion were centred towards strengthening oversight and monitoring mechanisms within the banking system.
