Bengaluru, June 8 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Monday launched a sharp counter-attack on Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, questioning the party's political conduct and alleging deep contradictions within the opposition INDIA bloc, triggering a fresh escalation in alliance-related tensions in Karnataka politics.

Vijayendra said the Congress had "no moral authority" to comment on alliance matters and accused it of repeated inconsistency in its political behaviour across states and coalitions.
