Naypyidaw, Aug. 3 -- Myanmar's detained former leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi met with a delegate from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Monday.
The meeting appears to be her first publicly disclosed meeting with a foreign official in several years amid growing international concern over her health.
The ICRC said the visit was conducted under its standard procedures for people deprived of liberty and included a private meeting with Suu Kyi.
