New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien on Monday termed the Bharatiya Janata Party's defeat in the Bankipur Assembly bypoll in Bihar as the "beginning of the end" for the ruling party, asserting that the outcome reflected mounting public dissatisfaction with the BJP's leadership and political strategy.
In a post on social media platform X, O'Brien mocked the BJP's organisational decisions in Bihar, particularly targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah, and presented what he described as a sequence of events culminating in the party's bypoll defeat.
