Pune, March 18 -- RPI leader Parshuram Wadekar on Wednesday refuted media reports that he is unhappy despite receiving the post of Deputy Mayor.
Some media outlets had reported that Wadekar was displeased as he was not accorded the expected respect from the BJP, even though the Republican Party (Athavale faction) is a BJP ally.
Wadekar explained that these reports arose from misunderstandings and that he holds no grievances. He noted that invitations to certain municipal events, including the Mayor's Cup competition in his ward, were missed due to technical errors-not intentionally.
