Visakhapatnam, July 8 -- Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti, Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (DCNS), visited Visakhapatnam from July 5 to 7 to review the operational preparedness and capability development initiatives of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC).
During the visit, the DCNS was briefed on the Command's operational responsibilities, force levels and ongoing capability enhancement programmes, a defence release said here on Wednesday.
Vice Admiral Sobti called on Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla and held detailed discussions on operational preparedness, maritime security and future capability development.
