Rampur, July 27 -- The bulldozer action against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's university in Rampur has been out on hold .

The Rampur Development Authority (RDA) had accused Mohammad Ali Jauhar University of constructing 38 of its 40 buildings without approved maps.

On July 15, a notice was issued to the university ordering demolition. The order stated that the university administration should demolish the buildings themselves, or the Rampur Development Authority would take action. However, the university was given 15 days before the demolition.
