Akola, Feb. 21 -- A demand for an immediate and impartial high-level investigation has been made following allegations that the birth certificate system in Maharashtra was hacked, raising serious concerns about the state's cyber security framework.
The issue has now reached the Chief Minister after a formal communication was sent, seeking clarity on the matter.
In a detailed letter addressed to CM Devendra Fadnavis, Javed Zakaria, State Organising Secretary of the NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar faction, has called for an urgent government clarification and a transparent probe.
