New Delhi, April 23 -- Intensifying efforts towards improving road safety, reducing accidents, and curbing violations such as drunken driving through awareness initiatives and strengthened enforcement, the Delhi government spearheaded the 'Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility Initiative 2026' under the theme "Aware Today, Responsible Always for a Safer, Greener Tomorrow."The initiative brought together key stakeholders, including Transport Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, Ashok Goel Devraha, MLA, Model Town, and the Delhi Traffic Police.
The initiative featured a series of activities, including awareness drives for school children, free Pollution Under Control (PUC) check-ups, and engaging nukkad nataks on road safety.
