New Delhi, June 18 -- Delhi recorded another hot day on Thursday, with temperatures climbing to 40.3 degrees Celsius at Ridge, adding to discomfort for residents venturing outdoors.
Ridge was the hottest location in the city, while the maximum temperature at Safdarjung, Delhi's base observatory, reached 39.5 deg C.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), minimum temperatures registered a sharp increase of more than 4 deg C across all major weather stations.
Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 27.9 deg C, up 4.1 degrees from the previous day. Similar increases were recorded at Palam, Lodhi Road, Ridge, and Ayanagar, where the minimum temperatures stood at 26.5 deg C, 26.8 deg C, 26.1 deg C, and 26.7 deg C, respect...
