New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Delhi experienced a cooler and largely cloudy Wednesday, with temperatures dropping significantly compared with the previous day and rain reported in several parts of the National Capital Region. The maximum temperature at Safdarjung was recorded at 31.3degC, 3.2 degrees below normal and 4.7 degrees lower than Tuesday.
The minimum temperature at Safdarjung stood at 28degC, while the city saw very light to light rain at many places, with moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning at a few locations during the past 24 hours.
