New Delhi, July 23 -- As part of Delhi government's advancing infrastructure development works, the construction of the joint PWD- DMRC double-decker flyover project at Karawal Nagar, Ghonda and Brijpuri Junction (Mangal Pandey Marg) in North-East Delhi is progressing at a fast pace, officials said.
Interestingly, this is Delhi's first integrated double-decker structure, where both the flyover and the Metro corridor are being developed as a single integrated project.
The 1.40-km-long structure is being built between Yamuna Vihar and Bhajanpura Metro stations, and during the fifth Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday, the revised project estimate of Rs 291 crore was approved, as th...
