New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Delhi Police have decided to strengthen their district-wise "Shishtachar" Anti-Eve Teasing Squads with greater focus on hotspot mapping, regular patrolling, surprise checks in public transport and prompt response to harassment and other crimes against women in public spaces.

The decision was taken at a meeting held on Friday at Vimarsh Hall, Police Headquarters, chaired by the Special Commissioner of Police, SPUWAC, with District Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) to review the functioning of the squads and ongoing preventive measures.
